Individual Coaching

Apart from the offer available from the Counseling Service of the Universities of Bern, the Office for Equal Opportunities offers individual specialist coaching for for advanced up-and-coming academics.

The Office for Equal Opportunities supports post doctoral students and assistant professors when planning their academic career. In the individual coaching sessions, you will receive coaching tailored to suit your individual needs and be given the opportunity to reflect on specific points of your academic career. Possible topics include: an analysis of your academic portfolio, preparation for application procedures, publication strategies, financing possibilities for proprietary research, reconcilability of academic career and care, mobility, alternative career paths, job sharing and networking.

The Office for Equal Opportunities has a coaching pool of (emeriti) professors and other experts and contributes to the financing of the coaching. The number of participants is limited. Places are awarded on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
