Artificial Intelligence and the New Fascism

Why is artificial intelligence touted as the savior for humanity’s greatest problems, even though the industry is based on exploitation and contempt for human beings? Public speculation about salvation or annihilation by AI distracts from the significant social harm caused by today’s AI. And it obscures the increasingly fascist tendencies emerging from the interaction between the tech industry and the new right.
