Research Facilities
The University of Bern operates state-of-the-art core facilities for scientific research at the highest level.
UniBE researchers therefore have easy access to research tools, technologies and services as well as the relevant expertise.

Ideenlabor
The Ideenlabor is a project and creative space on Fabrikstrasse that is available free of charge to anyone studying, researching or working at the university.
Thanks to state-of-the-art and flexible equipment, innovative projects can be developed here in an interdisciplinary environment, new teaching formats can be tested and events can be held.
PH Bern LabSpace
The LabSpace at PH Bern is open to students and other members of the University of Bern. It offers extensive infrastructure for practical work with different media, as well as consulting, and equipment rental.
Besides photo, audio, and video studios, the MakerSpace (including 3D printing and lasercutter) as well as extended reality and VR are available.
