Funding

There are two kinds of funding available: one offered by ENLIGHT and the other by the University of Bern. The funding offers of the University of Bern were not developed specifically for ENLIGHT but can be used for collaborations with ENLIGHT partners.

Example of a possible combined pathway to a Joint Program

  1. Cost contributions for travelling to connect with academics at ENLIGHT partner universities
  2. Incubator Call for preparatory work on joint program
  3. Combining UniBE ENLIGHT Anchor Projects funding scheme with Erasmus Mundus Design Measures for designing the joint program
  4. Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters to implement the new joint program

External funding offers

Erasmus Mundus Design Measures: support the design of high-level and integrated study programs, at master level.
➔ For EU universities only, alternative for UniBE: Anchor Projects funding scheme

 

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters: proposal must present a fully developed and accredited joint study program, ready to run and to be advertised worldwide, if selected.
➔ UniBE and EU universities eligible for funding

* Modules consist of courses that belong together thematically and are usually examined together. 
➔ mutual recognition or joint development of modules

Mobility windows can include various and flexible international learning opportunities, ranging from low-threshold Internationalization at Home offers, short-term mobilities and blended mobility to physical semester exchanges.

** ENLIGHT partner universities can develop and offer joint study programs that lead to a joint degree or to a degree from each of the respective partner universities (double degree).
