There are various options for accessing the internet at the University of Bern.
eduroam
Employees and students of the University of Bern use the wireless network eduroam. After registering with the Campus Account, you can access university internal resources, electronic publications and applications.

The wireless network public-unibe is available for guests. Please contact your host for access.

VPN-Access
With a VPN connection (virtual private network) an encrypted, secure and authenticated connection from remote locations (e.g. from home or abroad) to the Uni-net (incl. access to paid libraries, journals, etc.) is made possible.
