Teaching Staff Exchange
The mobility of lecturers offers teaching staff the opportunity to enrich their own teaching experience, introduce more extensive cooperation and internationalize the teaching spectrum at the University of Bern.
If there is a Swiss-European Mobility (Erasmus) agreement with a European partner university, you can coordinate a teaching visit with your foreign colleagues. The teaching activity should make a contribution to the regular teaching spectrum of the partner university and should comprise at least eight teaching hours. If you would like to combine teaching during a stay with training, the minimum number of lessons is reduced from eight to four. Expenses for both your travel and stay can be subsidized both for teaching positions of lecturers from the University of Bern at partner universities (outgoing) and for teaching positions of visiting lecturers from European partner universities at the University of Bern (incoming).
