Mission Statement

The University of Bern is committed to ensure that sustainability is embedded in all its operations (research, teaching and business operations). The university recognises the social, economic and environmental responsibilities across its activities and outlines the university's commitment to the principles of sustainable development in its Mission Statement for Sustainability.

The Mission Statement for Sustainability was agreed upon by the Executive Board of the University of Bern in January 2017.
