To support researchers in their search for suitable funding opportunities, the University of Bern has acquired licenses for the “Pivot-RP” search platform and the “Fundraiso” online directory.

Pivot-RP – Search platform

A comprehensive database of open calls from national and international funding agencies as well as other funding organizations.

Access

Members of UniBE and Inselspital have free access to Pivot-RP.

You can either create an account using your institutional email address or log in with your Switch edu-ID.

Login with Switch edu-ID

To log in using your Switch edu-ID, select the appropriate institution from the drop-down menu on the login page and follow the prompts.

From 1 November 2025, UniBE will switch from the Research Professional funding search database to its successor Pivot-RP.

Fundraiso – Directory

A complete list of charitable foundations, funds and sponsors in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Organizations from abroad are added on an ongoing basis.

Access

You have premium access to Fundraiso within the university and Inselspital network or via VPN.

You can also create a free personal account, which allows you to tailor the Fundraiso services to your needs, e.g. through favorites lists, Excel exports and the comment function. Another advantage of a personal account is that you can access the database outside the network without VPN.
