Visiting delegations

We welcome visiting delegations from across the globe – including current and prospective partners in academic research and teaching, industry and government. 

These visits are a valuable opportunity for us to strengthen our international partnerships and to increase the University’s international visibility. 

Arranging your visit

If you are interested in visiting the University as part of a delegation, please contact us via email, giving us at least four weeks’ notice. Please specify the following points in your email:

• name of your institution
• objectives of the visit
• proposed date(s) of the visit
• special requirements
• existing relationships with persons or departments of the University of Bern (if any)

The sooner we receive specific information about your visit, the better will we be able to plan it and connect you with the right persons. 

When to visit 

We ask that you arrange to visit during the academic year, when academic and administrative staff are most likely to be available. If you should wish to visit during the semester break, please notify us as soon as possible.
