Employees with disabilities or chronic illnesses should be enabled to participate fully in the university. Appropriate workplace adaptations are clarified and implemented on an individual basis.

The Equal Opportunity Office at the University of Bern supports employees with questions about tools, accessibility and workplace adaptations and networks with the relevant responsible offices at the university. Employees with disabilities or chronic illnesses can seek advice and voice their concerns for an inclusive work environment.
