Better Science Initiative

The current project of the working group “critical discourse on excellence” is the Better Science Initiative. Work at the university should be characterized by sustainability, diversity, and equal opportunities: This is the only way to achieve academic excellence. A fair, appreciative, and responsible environment encourages university members in their work. The initiative draws attention to the problems of an accelerated and consuming academic system and fosters a discussion on excellence in higher education. Ten calls to action for all members of academia demonstrate how they can make a lasting impact on the higher education landscape.
