Integrity Officers
The Integrity Officers are responsible for dealing with reports of (possible) breaches of scientific integrity. They are the contact persons for all members of the University in matters of scientific integrity.
Task and purpose
The integrity officers are the contact persons for all members of the university regarding any questions of scientific integrity. These persons are responsible for assessing reports of violations of scientific integrity, clarifying matters in advance and conducting the procedure. The integrity officers are independent of the bodies of the university.
In the event of any violations of the principles of scientific integrity that might detract from the making of scientific discoveries or violations that might infringe individual interests deserving of protection, the integrity officers will conduct a procedure to establish whether there has been any culpable (i.e. intentional or negligent) misconduct.
Requests and reports
Requests relating to questions of scientific integrity within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 2 of the regulations regarding scientific integrity can be submitted in writing or via e-mail.
Reports of scientific misconduct within the meaning of Art. 7 Para. 4 must be made in writing to the integrity officers, explaining the reasons.
