Generation tandem
Senior-Junior transition tandem
The University of Bern provides additional personnel resources to ensure that the extensive professional and institutional expertise and networks of experienced employees are not lost upon retirement. With the Senior-Junior transition tandem, the exchange of knowledge between experienced employees (senior) and younger employees (junior) can be promoted.
- The younger person in the tandem can increase their workload, which serves to share knowledge and mentoring with the experienced person and benefits from the expertise and networks of the experienced person
- The older person in the tandem benefits from the younger person's additional knowledge of media or other essential skills.
