Why are my print jobs not being displayed on the MFP?

Are your print jobs not appearing on the MFP display even though they have left the local queue on your PC/Mac/Notebook?  There may be several reasons for this:

  • You may have typed in your campus account details or print code incorrectly. If cookies are enabled in your browser, Uniprint will also use these incorrect details for any future print jobs.
  • You have been given a new campus account after a change of role (e.g. from student to staff). If cookies are enabled in your browser, Uniprint will use the old details that are no longer valid for your print jobs.
  • You are using a different print card. If cookies are enabled in your browser, Uniprint will use the print code from the old print card for your print jobs.
  • You are working in a pool room and did not log in before using a new PC/Mac.

Solution: delete cookies in Internet Explorer* (Windows), Safari* (Mac) or Firefox (Linux) so that you can enter the correct campus account details or print code.
 *even if the default browser is a different one.
 If you still cannot see your print jobs on the MFP, please contact your institute's IT support team or the Servicedesk.
