Questions about the home office

If you don't own a headset, but you may have headphones with a microphone from a smartphone, tablet, iPod, etc., normally these can be used on a PC as well. For laptops simply use the built-in microphone and speakers of the laptop.

The Call forwarding to an external number is possible on all IP desktops 9611G and J179 and is generally activated.

Use the extended call forwarding function for this. The system distinguishes between internal and external incoming calls. You have the option of forwarding the calls to different phone numbers. If you only want to forward calls to one destination, enter the corresponding phone number in both lines "Internal" and "External". Please remember that for external calls as well as forwarding destinations, you must first configure a 0 (access to external) and then the destination number, i.e. 0079 123 45 67.

If the system does not accept the destination number, please contact the Telecom Support (Uni internal link; in German only). The configuration for your connection will then be checked.

We recommend using the FortiClient. For now employees of the Central Administration who use the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client with the profile zbvpn.unibe.ch do not need to make any adjustments to their VPN client.

As username please only enter your campus account (without @campus.unibe.ch).
