Access Arrangements
Students with disabilities or chronic illnesses have a right to Access Arrangements. This includes students with neurodivergences such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, etc. Access Arrangements means the proportionate adjustment of study and examination conditions that are necessary to compensate for disadvantages caused by disabilities or chronic illnesses. You can find information on the conditions that must be met and what access arrangements could be applied for on the website.
Buildings, Cafeterias, and Libraries
The University of Bern is spread across many different buildings, mainly along Länggasse. For the buildings on Länggasse, the bus stops “Universität,” “Mittelstrasse,” “Unitobler,” and “Länggasse” are the most important. You can reach these stops via bus line 20. The buildings are within easy walking distance of these stops.
Almost all locations have a cafeteria and/or mensa. The weekly menus are available on the website.
Every university has a library or several libraries. The faculty libraries and their locations, along with the services they offer, can be viewed on the website. In addition, each faculty library has different types of study spaces, which can be viewed on the website.
Quiet rooms and quiet zones
You can see on the building plans where quiet rooms and quiet zones are already located in the various buildings.
