Lindy hop

Lindy Hop, an African-American dance, originated in Harlem (New York) towards the end of the 1920s as a dance response to the new swing music of the time. It can be seen as a precursor to Boogie Woogie, Rock'n'Roll, Jive, West Coast Swing and many other swing dances. Lindy Hop is a dynamic couple dance with great freedom of movement and improvisation possibilities that are limited at most by the imagination.

In addition, Lindy Hop nowadays gives the couple the freedom they need to go beyond the classic roles and gain experience as "leader" and "follower". In this course, the playful creativity of the dance is taught alongside sound technique. And don't forget, enjoyment is more important than skill.
