ILIAS working group
ILIAS (Integrated Learning, Information and Work Cooperation System) offers you the possibility to create a temporary working group for online collaboration.
Members of the University of Bern can open a working group in the ILIAS “iTools” area and add other people with ILIAS access.
Find out how to give an external person access here. Note that people at other Swiss universities can already access the University of Bern’s ILIAS.
What do you need to do?
To log in to ILIAS, you need a Campus Account that is linked to a Switch edu-ID account (see instructions “Create Switch edu-ID”). You then log in to ILIAS using your Switch edu-ID.
The user identification required for people at other universities is displayed at login. People from the Inselspital, for example, use their Insel account and do not need an edu-ID.
The ILIAS instructions below explain how to create a working group, control access to the group, manage members, and delete a group. Note that working groups are available for a maximum of one year from the creation date.
