Over a century ago Joseph Hubert Pilates developed his ingenious holistic training method, which is meanwhile known and recognized throughout the world under the name of Pilates. Pilates is a unique fusion of training for body and mind. All Pilates exercises revolve around the symbiosis of breathing and movement, strength and flexibility. Pilates helps to improve awareness of body and movement, not merely when training but also in everyday life.

The regular practice of Pilates trains/helps participants to:

  • Achieve a balance between strength and flexibility
  • Improve performance
  • Improve posture
  • Reduce stress
  • Prevent injury
  • Concentration, self-knowledge and control
  • Improve coordination

And lastly, Pilates will counteract uneven strain on the body caused by sport, daily routine and repetitive movements at the workplace.
