Cardio step is an aerobic workout that is easy on the joints. It involves stepping on and off a height-adjustable platform and is highly enjoyable. It particularly strengthens the muscles of the legs and buttocks. The intensity level of the workout can be adjusted by changing the height of the step: The higher the platform, the harder the participant will have to work. Quickly stepping on and off simultaneously trains the entire torso and stabilizes the muscles of the back. This workout is also excellent for coordination and fitness.
Anyone can join a class whether or not they have done step aerobics before.
