Bouldering is climbing at jumping height without a rope.

Originally, bouldering was practised as training for mountaineering and sport climbing. In the meantime, bouldering has become an independent and established discipline of mountain sports. Bouldering is very playful, but at the same time it is also an intensive strength training that promotes body and movement awareness.

Use of the boulder

The boulder on the outdoor area of the ZSSw is now available again. Please come dressed and bring your own bouldering equipment whenever possible (brushes, climbing shoes, magnesium). The crash area is now secured with protective mats, so you no longer need to bring your own crash pads.

Please also read the user regulations for the boulder before your visit to the ZSSw. In the event of non-compliance, the supervisory staff are authorised to turn people away.
