Mendeley is a free literature management program that is available for Mac and iOS, Windows and Linux. It is used primarily to organize academic articles and PDFs, process them for citations and literature lists, and exchange them with other people via a social network.
With a „team plan“ a group of more than three people can take advantage of a PDF library with access being shared by everyone, everywhere. You can also access the literature from a mobile device without the need for an additional application, in order to read it, highlight passages in it or add notes to PDFs.
If you want to set up this kind of group, simply send an e-mail to Dr. Aline Frank with the name and type of the group („private“ or „invite only, see here) and the number of people.
