Use a professional application photo:

• High-resolution, sharp and appropriate lighting: both color and black-and-white acceptable (this applies to printed photographs as well as digital images in electronic applications). The portrait should have a neutral background.
• Engaging appearance: you need to relax, smile and look straight into the camera (passport photographs, taken in a booth, for which you are requested not to smile, are not appropriate). Look interested, motivated and kind.Well groomed appearance (clothes, hair, make-up). Understated and nothing overbearing. The clothes should suit the job/industry for which you are applying.
• Topicality: use an up-to-date photo.
