Employees and researchers at the University of Bern receive support for the design and technical implementation of online surveys.
In addition to advice concerning an appropriate survey tool, the support team for ICT-assisted teaching and research (iLUB) will also, on request, take responsibility for preparing questionnaires (efssurvey or unipark and ILIAS survey) and providing technical support during the implementation phase.
Public ILIAS surveys with iTools
iTools is a special unit in ILIAS (Learning Management System of the University of Bern), which provides easy access to individual ILIAS subjects. University of Bern employees can set up public surveys themselves in iTools.
The ILIAS object "Survey" is used as a consultation.
When distributing your surveys, please observe the university guidelines on electronic bulletin boards and mass e-mails: "It is not permitted for students or employees to send mass e-mails independently or to send other electronic messages via Outlook, ILIAS or the like.

The Questback academic program
For extended needs, a consultation can be conducted with unipark for the desired target. To be able to implemented this product, a license is required. Ask your institute whether an institute license already exists which you can use or buy an individual license.
With unipark, you have the following options:
- Web-based software
- More than 35 existing question types which also look good on a smartphone.
- Dynamic lists and in-house layout editor
- Evaluation as an export file for SPSS or Excel or via the in-house analysis tool Reporting+
