Check insurances

Inform your current insurance companies that you are moving away and find out how long the insurance cover remains valid in Switzerland.  For example, this concerns pension schemes, health insurance, personal liability insurance, car insurance etc.

Important! In Switzerland, health insurance is mandatory. After arrival, you have approximately three months to register with a Swiss health insurance company. Read more here on the topic of health insurance.
