Web of Science (previously known as Web of Knowledge) is an online subscription-based, multidisciplinary scientific citation database. It gives access to multiple databases that reference cross-disciplinary research including journal articles, books and proccedings from natural sciences and technology, arts and humanities as well as social sciences.

Sustainable Development Library

The Sustainable Development Library (BNE) is an academic and interdisciplinary specialist library with an extensive collection of books, journals and documents from various topic areas concerning sustainable development as well as inter- and transdisciplinarity.

The Center for Development and Environment (CDE) is an interdisciplinary research centre of the University of Bern. Its overarching goal is to produce and share knowledge for sustainable development in cooperation with partners in the global North and South. CDE conducts research to develop innovative concepts and solutions for the sustainable use of land and water resources. It also offers a range of services for planners and decision-makers that are closely linked to research.
