The Sport Science Library is part of the University Library Bern (UB). It is provisionally located for two years on the second floor at Muesmattstrasse 27. The Sport Science Library is a specialist academic library with open access facilities. It is public but gears its collections strongly toward the needs of students and lecturers of the Institute of Sport Science. The media stock primarily comprises books and journals as well as CD-ROMs and DVDs.
The selection of books in the library is geared first and foremost to the needs of the students and lecturers of the Institute of Sport Science (ISPW) and the sports practitioners of University Sports Bern. The library contains around 9,000 monographs and some 30 current journals.

- The Sport Science Library is connected to the university's PublicNET.
- A Uniprint device is available to users. Payments are made by Unicard.
- All books with the exception of reference works may be borrowed. Journals may only be used on site.
- The Sport Science Library is not connected to the messenger service. Books must be collected and returned to the library during opening hours or returned by post.
