Research data management training
Freitag, 17.11.2017, 09:15 Uhr
More and more research funders do not only require Open Access to funded publications but to underlying research data as well. They strongly emphasise the management, sharing and publication of data produced in research with as few restrictions as possible. In this workshop, the key requirements for European research projects will be discussed, practical advice on Data Management Plans (DMPs) will be given, and a special focus will be placed on “best practices” in managing data. The workshop will be led by the UK Digital Curation Centre. The DCC is a centre of expertise in Research Data Management and participates in several EC infrastructure projects such as the European Open Science Cloud pilot, EUDAT, OpenAIRE and FOSTER.
