What is a Bachelor's Degree?

In conformity with the Bologna Process, the study system at Swiss universities is divided into three stages: The first stage of study comprises 180 ECTS credits (equivalent to three years of full-time study) and concludes with the bachelor's diploma.

The bachelor's degree program worth 180 ECTS credits last six semesters (= three years of full-time study) and is intended to provide a basic academic foundation.
